The Innovation and Skills quarter showcases the philosophy of Daedalus. The encouragement of new 'start-ups' and development of businesses creates a strong platform for economic growth and additional jobs. As businesses grow, they benefit from the assurance of follow-on opportunities across the wider site at the two business parks.
Fareham Innovation Centre
Fareham Innovation Centre is a thriving Business Centre and home to 57 technology led companies, with many having a focus on advanced engineering and hi-tech product development.
The Innovation Centre is managed by Oxford Innovation Space, which runs the largest network of innovation centres across the UK and Ireland. The Innovation Centre has become a hub for entrepreneurs, all contributing to local economic growth. Companies, in turn, benefit from unique business support services, one-to-one strategy sessions, and bespoke programmes to help them improve productivity and profitability - all delivered on site, by the centre's in-house team.
Occupancy at the centre is now at a record 96%, with upwards of 300 people on site at any one time and dozens of networking and knowledge events held annually.
The centre also offers meeting and conference facilities which are available for businesses to hire.

CEMAST
Opposite the Innovation Centre is South Hampshire College Group's CEMAST, Centre of Excellence in Engineering, Manufacturing and Advanced Skills Training. With state of the art facilities and industry leading workshops, the College provides young people with the highest quality technological training environment.

CETC
Completing the cluster is South Hampshire College Group's CETC, Civil Engineering Training Centre, providing specialist training centre for Civil Engineering.
