All manufacturing and industrial units at Daedalus are designed with a strong focus on sustainability, meeting modern green standards and targeting high-efficiency ratings.

New developments are targeting BREEAM 'Outstanding' and EPC 'A+' ratings, reflecting superior environmental performance. Buildings are designed to reduce carbon footprints through the installation of photovoltaic systems, air source heat pumps, and by maximising natural light and ventilation.

The site also emphasises sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS), native wildflower planting, and significant tree planting to boost biodiversity and enhance the surroundings. The development also adheres to strict environmental management plans to protect local wildlife and habitats, such as those related to Solent Waders and Brent Geese.

The infrastructure supports greener transport options, including electric vehicle (EV) charging points and bicycle storage to encourage sustainable commuting.
